British Women's Group Bangkok

Our group started as the British Club Ladies Golf Group back in August 1969 .In those days you had to be a member of the British Club and ladies of other nationalities were not permitted to join.  However over the years more and more ladies of different nationalities did become members and in April 1992, in order to reflect the cosmopolitan nature of the group, it was decided to change the name to Bangkok Cosmopolitan Ladies Golf, thus keeping the initials BCLG. 

We play most of our golf at The Royal Golf & Country Club,  Green ValleyCountry Club  and Chuan Chuen.  We will also be playing at Bangkok Golf Club and President Country Club.  Most of the courses (with the exception of Chuan Chuen) have their own web sites.  Here's a couple for you to look at:       www.royalgolfclubs.com      www.greenvalleybangkok.com  

If you are female, interested in playing golf in Thailand and able to complete a round of golf in less than 120 shots then we’d love you to join us. Contact:  The Secretary, Maureen Gibson. We also hold away games in up-country resorts about twice a year.  We enjoy social outings and our affiliation with the LGU means that official handicaps are maintained.



 

We meet on Tuesday mornings, nice and early…630am at pre-arranged golf courses.
